You are ready to submit your work to a professional reader – whether agent, editor, or producer – but you’re still not sure if it meets the industry standards for acceptability. In a competitive market, even the smallest inconsistencies or errors in grammar, spelling, or punctuation can communicate a lack of professionalism.
We pride ourselves on our copyediting, on going through your manuscript with a fine-toothed comb (a phrase which we would no doubt flag as a cliché). From first sentence to last, we will do our best to make your project as presentable as possible.
We edit according to either The Chicago Manual of Style or Associated Press standards (although we prefer, along with the rest of the industry, CMS). After submission of your manuscript for appraisal, we will provide a free sample page as well as an estimate of final costs. Based on your expectations, our work (and our fees) can be adjusted accordingly.
